Water security and gender equality are two of the defining challenges of our time, and they are more connected than many realise. On 22 June 2026, 13:00-14:45 CEST, the Horizon Europe project WE-ACT is hosting a free online webinar exploring how data-driven tools can help put women at the centre of water decision-making.
Titled From Data to Decision, the session will showcase two innovative digital solutions developed within the project: the miraX Decision Support System, a cloud-based platform for real-time water management and scenario planning, and the Rana Data Warehouse, an integrated data environment enabling evidence-based water allocation in transboundary river basins.
Drawing on real-world experiences from Central Asia, speakers will demonstrate how participatory, accessible technology can strengthen climate resilience, improve water management practices, and meaningfully advance gender inclusion in environmental governance.
The webinar will close with a hands-on interactive segment, giving participants the chance to explore the tools directly and engage with practical use-case scenarios.
