On Jan, 10 2024, our project partner, UPV (Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Val\u00e8ncia, Research Institute of Water and Environmental Engineering, Spain)<\/span> submitted an abstract entitled \u201cA Comparative Analysis of Economic Instruments for Water Management across Europe\u201d* for the EGU 2024<\/a> based on D1.1: Factsheets on economic instrument development across Europe.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The RETOUCH NEXUS project aims to create and improve strategies of managing water, energy, food and ecosystems (WEFE nexus) together that are innovative, fair and operative. The objective of these strategies, which include smart water governance schemes, economic instruments, and refined institutional frameworks, is to ensure water availability within the European Union (EU) amid a range of future challenging scenarios, including those induced by climate change.<\/span><\/p>\n
